In the bead preparation area of modern tire factories, semi-finished products (especially steel wire rings and triangular rubber components) are not directly stacked on the ground, but are orderly circulated with the help of specific fixtures. The tire bead partition plays the role of a "standardized vehicle" in this stage. With the popularization of fully automatic bead forming technology for all steel radial tires (which can reduce labor costs by 50% and increase production efficiency by 28%), more stringent data requirements have been put forward for the size consistency, wear resistance, and shaping accuracy of the partition plate in conjunction with the Bead Spacer.

1、 Apex Holder size and physical data in automated stacking

In automatic stacking and robot grasping scenarios, PP bead separators (polypropylene bead separators) have become the preferred choice due to their precision advantage in injection molding. Unlike the welding tolerance of metal partitions, PP injection molded partitions can control the flatness error within a very small range (usually with an overall warpage of less than 1.5 mm), ensuring the stability of the center of gravity when stacking dozens of layers high.

In terms of specific material and structural data, the density of PP raw material is only 0.89~0.91 g/cm ³, which is about 65% lighter than aluminum partitions of the same size, reducing the end load of the six axis robot. Its tensile yield strength is usually between 30~38 MPa, and its bending modulus is about 1300~1500 MPa, which is sufficient to withstand the pressure of tire bead groups stacked up to 50 layers with a total weight exceeding 300 kg without permanent deformation. The several circular protrusions and bottom steps designed on the partition can reduce the actual contact area between the tire bead and the board surface by more than 40%. Combined with the lower surface energy of PP itself, the peeling force of uncured triangular rubber is reduced to below 0.5 N/cm, avoiding "drawing" or deformation.

2、 Curve fit and anti sticking structure data of PP tire bead pad

The triangular rubber shaping plate is often used alternately or combined with the tire bead partition, and its core task is to ensure that the "thin and high" triangular rubber does not collapse or curl during the cooling and storage stage. The circular curvature of the disc body must be closely matched with the design curvature of the tire, and the cone angle is usually set at 15 °~25 ° based on the bead angle (corresponding to the common tire bead angle of 30 °~60 °).

To prevent the triangular adhesive with residual heat (about 80 ℃~100 ℃) from sticking to the disc body during extrusion, a large through-hole (with a diameter often accounting for 30%~50% of the disc diameter) is provided in the middle of the shaping disc to promote air convection and heat dissipation. The protruding part of the inner cavity side wall is often designed as a circular or point structure with a width of 3-5 mm and a spacing of 8-12 mm. This discrete support minimizes the contact area of rubber, and PP material remains soft for short-term use in environments above 100 ℃. The thermal deformation temperature (under a load of 1.82MPa) can reach 100 ℃~110 ℃, which is suitable for the temperature conditions of initial triangular rubber blanks.

3、 Durability and lifespan data in production line logistics

In the high-frequency turnover of tire factories, a set of PP bead separators or triangular rubber shaping discs usually needs to go through a cycle of "online loading - high-temperature zone temporary storage - cooling stacking - automatic separation - cleaning and returning to position". PP material has excellent bending fatigue resistance (can be bent more than 10 times) and stable impact resistance in workshop environments ranging from -10 ℃ to 80 ℃. According to actual production line statistics, the single cycle loss rate of high-quality PP partitions is less than 0.1%, and the normal service life can reach 2-3 years (about 5000-8000 cycles). In addition, waste PP can be 100% recycled and pelletized, and the value of a single piece of recycled material is about several yuan, which meets the requirements of factory cost reduction and environmental audit.
