PP tire bead pads have excellent chemical corrosion resistance and mechanical strength. According to laboratory test data, the tensile strength of high-quality PP bead separators can reach 35MPa, and the elongation at break is stable at over 100%. This means that it is not easily broken and has excellent toughness during repeated mechanical winding and peeling processes.


What is even more remarkable is its heat resistance. The tire vulcanization process is usually carried out at high temperatures ranging from 150 ℃ to 170 ℃. Ordinary materials are prone to softening and deformation, while the thermal deformation temperature of PP bead separators can reach over 120 ℃, which can effectively maintain dimensional stability. At present, the utilization rate of PP bead separators in the production line of all steel radial tires by domestic first-line tire manufacturers has exceeded 55%. This not only reduces the dynamic balance failure rate of tires by about 8%, but also significantly reduces production costs due to their reusability (with an average lifespan of 30-50 times).
