Multi functional characteristics and applications of PTFE corrugated pipes
PTFE corrugated hose, also known as PTFE corrugated pipe or PTFE corrugated pipe, abbreviated as PTFE in English. This material exhibits excellent performance, including high temperature resistance (operating temperature range of 200-260 degrees), low temperature resistance (still soft at -100 degrees), corrosion resistance (able to resist aqua regia and various organic solvents), weather resistance (best aging life among plastics), high lubricity (with the lowest friction coefficient of 0.04 among plastics), non adhesiveness (with extremely low surface tension and no adhesion to any substance), and non toxicity (with physiological inertness). In addition, it also has excellent electrical performance and is widely regarded as an ideal C-class insulation material.
Teflon, known as a leader in plastics, stands out in the field of engineering plastics due to its excellent temperature resistance (up to 280 ℃), electrical strength (45KV/mm), strong acid and alkali resistance, excellent anti adhesion, slip characteristics, and wear resistance. Therefore, it is widely used in various industries such as machinery, automobiles, electronics, chemicals, and valves. Teflon hoses are an ideal choice for chemical, instrumentation, electrical, and mechanical industries. Especially its insulation sleeve, with its high temperature resistance and voltage resistance (300V), plays a crucial role in high-tech fields such as aerospace, automotive, medical, electronic transformers, and communication.
Stainless steel mesh sleeve, as a key pressure bearing component of PTFE pipes in pressure pipelines, not only undertakes the responsibility of protecting PTFE pipes, but also flexibly selects single-layer or multi-layer stainless steel wires or steel strips for weaving according to the pressure and usage environment in the pipeline, thereby constructing high-pressure resistant PTFE hoses. Stainless steel mesh covers are mainly divided into two types: steel wire mesh covers and steel strip mesh covers.
The connection methods of PTFE hoses are flexible and diverse, including flange connections, oil connections, threaded connections, quick couplings, and direct connections with pipe fittings. In addition, we can provide customized connection methods based on specific customer needs. Our company also produces DN10-150mm Teflon corrugated pipes, which can reach a length of 20-2000mm, with a standard wall thickness range of 1.5mm to 2.2mm, and have a fatigue life of at least 1000 times.
