The fluorine free Teflon Bellows production line has been put into operation, promoting the green transformation of the industry

The traditional fluorine-containing process in the production of teflon hose is prone to producing harmful gases, which does not meet the environmental requirements under the "dual carbon" target. Recently, a green materials company announced that the first fluorine free PTFE FEP production line in China has been officially put into operation. The production line achieves zero fluorine gas emissions during the production process through innovative "low-temperature sintering+closed-loop recovery" technology, reducing energy consumption by 30%, and setting a new benchmark for the green transformation of the PTFE reinforced hose industry.

Traditional Teflon Bellows production uses high-temperature sintering technology, with temperatures reaching over 380 ℃. This not only consumes high energy but also generates fluorinated gases such as tetrafluoroethylene, requiring significant investment in waste gas treatment. The R&D team of a certain green material company has broken through the bottleneck of traditional processes and adopted the "low-temperature plasma assisted sintering" technology to reduce the sintering temperature to 280 ℃. At the same time, through a self-designed exhaust gas closed-loop recovery system, the trace fluorine-containing gases generated during the production process are collected and converted into raw materials for reuse, achieving "zero emissions and recycling". After testing by the environmental protection department, the concentration of exhaust gas emissions from the production line is far below the national standard, with tetrafluoroethylene emissions ≤ 0.1mg/m ³, meeting the strictest international environmental standards.

The production line without fluorine emissions not only helps enterprises save 40% of waste gas treatment costs, but also improves product quality stability, "said the general manager of a green materials company. The Teflon tubes produced by the production line have more uniform sintering temperature, increased product density by 5%, and more stable mechanical properties. They have obtained the EU CE environmental protection certification and can be directly exported to the European market. At present, the company has received orders from Germany, France and other regions, with an expected annual export volume of 500000 meters. Industry analysts point out that the popularization of fluorine free emission processes will promote the Teflon coated pipe industry to break free from the label of "high pollution and high energy consumption", achieve a win-win situation of economic and environmental benefits, and inject new impetus into the sustainable development of the industry.
