In addition to hardness, fatigue resistance is another core indicator. Every kilometer the vehicle travels, the tire bead separator undergoes thousands of compression rebound cycles. According to the laboratory's flexural fatigue test data, high-quality tire bead separators need to be able to withstand over 500000 dynamic deformations without cracking. To achieve this goal, engineers have added special reinforcing fillers to rubber, such as highly dispersed silica or specific structured carbon black. These micrometer or even nanometer sized particles, like steel bars in reinforced concrete, form a strong physical cross-linking network between rubber molecular chains, greatly enhancing the durability of the material.


It is worth mentioning that the formula of the tire bead separator also needs to take into account its compatibility with adjacent components. It must have good adhesion properties with the coating of the bead core, the surrounding carcass ply, and the coating on the wheel rim surface. Any debonding of the interface may lead to catastrophic "bead detachment" accidents of the tire during high-speed driving.
