After the steel wire ring is bonded to the triangular adhesive, the quality of the semi-finished product's temporary storage, transportation, and shaping directly determines the success rate of the subsequent ring forming machine. In the past, many factories used tire bead partitions made of aluminum alloy or steel plate. Although they had high strength, the weight of a single piece usually reached 1.5kg~2.5kg, and the operators carried them hundreds of times per shift, resulting in extremely high labor intensity. Moreover, the sharp edges of the metal were prone to collision and damage to the surface of the uncured triangular rubber. After using PP tire bead separators, the weight of a single piece can be reduced to 0.3kg~0.5kg (density 0.89~0.91 g/cm ³), and the handling efficiency is significantly improved. Calculated based on saving 0.5~1 hour of labor hours per shift and producing 10000 tire beads per year, it can be converted into a considerable labor cost compression.

2、 The influence of contact area control and anti sticking data on yield

Unsulfided triangular rubber has strong viscosity. If it adheres to the partition over a large area, it is prone to pulling and deformation, surface fuzz, and even tearing during separation, resulting in excessive ovality of the tire bead (if it is required to be controlled within ± 0.5 mm but exceeds the standard), which can trigger an alarm and shutdown of the molding machine. The tire bead partition and triangular rubber shaping plate reduce the actual contact area between the rubber and the sheet by 40% or even more by setting several protruding parts, point supports, or circular ribs with a width of 3-5 mm in the inner cavity.

Combined with the low critical surface tension of PP material itself (about 30-33 mN/m), the peeling resistance of the triangular adhesive can be reduced to below 0.5 N/cm, achieving "near zero residue" separation. According to data statistics from a certain factory, after introducing PP tire bead separators with optimized protruding structures, the scrap rate of tire beads caused by adhesion and rubber pulling has decreased from 1.2% to less than 0.3%. Calculated based on a daily production of 5000 pieces, about 45 pieces of waste are reduced per day, and the long-term accumulated savings in rubber materials and labor hours are very obvious.

3、 Data support for thermal compatibility and dimensional tolerances

After the triangular adhesive is bonded or just extruded, the temperature is often around 80 ℃~100 ℃. If the partition conducts heat too quickly or is prone to deformation, it will affect the accuracy of tire bead shaping. The Vicat softening point of PP tire bead separator can be controlled within the range of 135 ℃~145 ℃, and it can maintain shape stability even when in short-term contact with 100 ℃ rubber material; Its thermal deformation temperature (under a load of 1.82MPa) is about 100 ℃~110 ℃, which can meet the environmental requirements of the temporary storage station.

The circular curvature of the triangular rubber shaping disc needs to be strictly matched with the tire specifications, and its cone angle often corresponds to a bead angle of 30 °~60 ° (the angle between the inclined surface of the shaping disc and the horizontal plane is about 15 °~25 °). The large hole in the middle of the disc (with a diameter of 30%~50%) can promote air circulation and avoid heat accumulation that may cause frost or premature burning on the surface of the rubber material. By coordinating with the positioning structure of the stepped part at the bottom of the partition and the protruding part around the through-hole, tire bead groups stacked more than 50 layers can also maintain verticality. When the total stack height is 1.2-1.5 meters, the deflection can be controlled within a very small range, which is conducive to the success rate of automatic gripper picking (up to 99.5% or more).

4、 Green cycle and added value at the factory audit level

Under the dual pressures of environmental protection and cost, the closed-loop advantage of recycling PP bead separators is also prominent: after crushing, granulation, and secondary modification, the mechanical performance retention rate of waste PP separators can reach over 85% of new materials. After re injection molding into separators, they can continue to serve, reducing carbon emissions by about 40% compared to disposable wood pulp separators, and also meeting the supply chain sustainability audit requirements of tire manufacturers.
