What is a tire bead separator?

The bead filler or bead apex is a critical component inside the tire, located in the bead area (the part where the tire comes into contact with the wheel rim). It is a wedge-shaped filling strip made of high hardness rubber, installed above the bead wire, used to support the sidewall and enhance the bonding strength between the tire and the wheel rim.
